What is Kiafest?
Register NowKia Motors America will celebrate its 25th Anniversary by hosting Kiafest, an event at the Kia Motors America campus in Irvine, CA providing inspiring, exciting and fun experiences, including Kia vehicle competitions, activities and prizes. Kiafest is for Kia owners and non-Kia owners alike. This is a smoke free, drug free, and alcohol-free event.
What time does the event start?
Kiafest will begin at 10:00 am PST and will end at 2:00 pm PST, rain or shine.
How much is parking? Where can I park?
FREE offsite parking is available at 5 Peters Canyon Road, Irvine, as well as at The Meggit Building, 14600 Myford Road, Irvine (Myford @ Walnut). FREE shuttle service will be provided and will begin at 9:30 am PST. There is no Bus, RV or Camper parking.
Is there accessible parking?
Accessible parking will be available at 111 Peters Canyon Road in designated locations.
What is the entry fee?
There is no fee to attend, however, we do ask that all attendees register for the event.
Do all attendees need to register?
Yes, all attendees are required to register. Pre-registration is recommended to avoid long lines. All attendees must check-in upon arrival. The link to register is on this website.
How do I participate in the Vehicle Competitions?

Is there preferred parking?
There will be limited preferred parking for Kia vehicles beginning at 9:00 am PST at 111 Peters Canyon Road, Irvine. First come, first served.
Are children allowed?
Yes, this is a family event and we do encourage all members of the family to attend. However, for the safety of everyone involved, we do require all attendees to register. Pre-registration is recommended to avoid long lines. All attendees must check-in upon arrival. The link to register is on this website.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are not allowed. Service dogs are allowed.
Is this an outdoor event?
This is an outdoor event with some indoor activities - rain or shine. Please dress comfortably and remember sunscreen.
What kind of activities can I participate in?
Vehicle Competitions, Kia Tech Talks and Designer’s Clinic, Pedal Power Racing Game, Razor Crazy Cart Racing, Kids Zone, Photo Ops and more. We require that Kia owners pre-register if they wish to participate in the Vehicle Competitions.
Are there age restrictions?
Although there is no age restriction to attend, some of our activities do have age restrictions:
Event Registration: Must be 18 years or older to register. If under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian must register and accompany the minor.
Razor Crazy Cart Racing: Participants must be 8 years of age or older and 120lbs maximum for the child carts and 16 years of age or older and 240lbs maximum for the adult carts.
Ride & Drive: Driver must be 21 years of age or older. Passengers must be 8 years of age or older due to child safety seat requirements.
Car Competitions: Participants must be 18 years of age or older. See Official Rules for eligibility requirements.
Will food & beverage be served?
All registrants will receive a voucher for a FREE lunch and drink from one of the food trucks. We ask that minors be accompanied with adults. Alcoholic beverages will not be served and will not be permitted onsite. Additional beverage and dessert items will be available for purchase.
Is there a Code of Conduct?
Yes. All children must be accompanied with an adult. No open grill/open flames will be allowed onsite. No soliciting for business. No for sale signs, unauthorized merch, flags, banners No sale of merchandise, parts or vehicles.
